Headaches and Migraines
Headaches and migraines can be a result of tissue tension within the head, around the head, in the neck, or in the back. I have even been surprised to find that a migraine could clear up when I release an old appendectomy scar. I have found that some intractable migraines can really be helped by releasing tension in the neck. Paying attention to the lymph system and how the fluids move out of the head into the body and making sure that those pathways are open is also important. Headaches can be caused by physical trauma, such as a blow to the head or a fall, landing on the head even with a helmet. When these headaches are intersected with emotional stress, it can compound the headaches. In difficult cases, I have found that seeing clients much more often than I usually do has broken the cycle. By often, I mean twice a day for three days in a row.
